Snowflake Challenge Day 1

I am striving to do this every year. I have had it in my head for at least the last month reminding myself to not forget.

Day 1

In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

Well, first I had to go back and see what I rec'd last year. I posted then about All I Want for Christmas - which is still a HUGE favorite of mine; Reflections - this one is all Snape & Harry; and My Mate - I think this one is the first fic that truly made me feel extremely happy over my writing.

This year, I am going to rec something else, obviously. I have provided the other links in case someone has missed them. 2015 is a new year, though, so we need new (old because I haven't written anything in awhile) recs!

Dancing Fairytales - This is a Neville/Ginny fic. I like this fic because it just sort of wrote itself. I was prompted with fanart of Neville and Ginny dancing. I let my mind explore...

I Never - I love this one because it is the fic where I began to explore George/Susan as a pairing. I re-read it every few months. There needs to be more George/Susan so I don't have to keep re-reading my own fic! haha

Last but not least, Changing Faces. I laughed as I scrolled through AO3 trying to pick. The story that would never end! It took me forever to write this one. I started it the day after HBP came out. So, I may have worked in a bit of DH, but very loosely. The horcruxes are not the same, but hey - I didn't even want to focus on those stupid things. So many memories are tied up in this fic. Memories of joking with Raven about how Harry and Lucius were actually going to end up together to complaints about those stupid horcruxes! It was completely re-edited and then finished this year for a lovely little fest "Finish your sh*t." I am thinking I need to do it again just because I have another one that keeps reminding me that it is sitting there just waiting.
